Troy Lewis

Owner/Design/Sales

Troy has over 35 years of experience in Horticulture with an emphasis in landscape design, working with both residential and commercial customers throughout the Quad Cities. The most enjoyable part of his job is building relationships with his customers and creating landscape plans that exceed their expectations within their budget. He thrives on developing solutions for “challenging” landscape areas.

Jamie Lewis

Owner/Operations

As co-owner of Heritage Landscape Design Inc., Jamie is the communication and marketing link for the company. She oversees all financial and personnel functions and works closely with the sales team and customers to ensure projects run smoothly.

Justin Thompson

General Manager

Justin has been with Heritage since 2004. He manages our Production Division and oversees our landscape and nursery crew members as well as our sales team to ensure the utmost customer service and quality. He has a vast knowledge of plant material, landscape design and the variety of hardscapes. Justin is a problem solver and helps bring creative design concepts to life while ensuring our projects run smoothly.

Myk Skelton

Senior Project Manager/Designer

Myk joined the Heritage Landscape Design team in 2005 after graduating from Augustana College. He started as a design technician under Troy Lewis and is now the Senior Project Manager. Myk has designed many landscapes around the Quad Cities area including residential, commercial and community projects.  He enjoys being a part of a company where every position is consulted and feedback is utilized to give customers functional landscapes with unique appearances. You may also see Myk speaking to local groups or volunteering at charity events.

Dave Schneider

Project Manager/Landscape Architect

Dave graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture Degree. He is a licensed Landscape Architect in the state of Iowa and Illinois. Dave worked in the landscape design/build industry in Kansas City for 15 years and has since been working in the landscape design/build industry in the Quad Cities area. He brings many years of experience in residential and light commercial projects pertaining to plantings, patios, retaining walls, and drainage and irrigation systems.

Kyle Rose

Lead Design Technician/Project Manager

Kyle graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Horticulture with an emphasis in Landscape Design. He began working with the Heritage Landscape Design team in 2009 as a design technician and is our design expert on staff. He is currently a Project Manager/Designer and successfully manages projects from the initial contact through the installation phase. Kyle enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and dog.

Kyle Lewis

Assistant Design Technician/Project Manager

Kyle graduated from the University of Illinois and worked as a Project Manager in Chicago for two years before returning to the Quad Cities to join Heritage. Kyle assists our design/sales staff with plans and helps with setting up and overseeing residential and commercial projects.

Susie Sebben

Office Manager

Susie joined with Heritage in 2022 after working at Moline High School. She oversees operations, accounts payable, accounts recievable and payroll. When she is not at work, spending time with her family is her favorite thing. She has two grown sons, Noah and Logan, and her husband Kyle is a Rock Island Firefighter.

Nick Edwards

Nursery Manager

Nick has worked with Heritage since 2013, starting as a seasonal employee while attending college. After graduating from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Nick came back to Heritage as a foreman for one of our crews. Nick has since taken on the role of Nursery Manager at the start of our 2023 season. He enjoys assisting customers with their upcoming projects. Stop in and see him at our Nursery!

Drew Parks

Assistant Design Technician

After graduating from high school in 2018, Drew hopped right into the landscape industry. He spent 4 years as a foreman and has been involved in projects of all sizes. He is now tasked with assisting our design team with 3D renderings, project take-offs and brings a different perspective to their sales process with his on-site experience. He also runs our social media pages to show off the amazing outdoor living spaces our company creates.
